Nights of Sin

She made her way toward the door, and Corey surprised her even more when he grabbed her arm, stopping her.

“I told Nathan I’d take you downstairs. I wasn’t lying to him.”

“You don’t have to do that.”

“When I say something, I mean it.”

Looking down at his hand on her arm, Alexa tried to focus, but she was really fighting right now to think. Corey had never spoken to her, and his voice was as deep as she imagined. All of him was all … male. There was no other word for it. Was that why he drew her attention? She didn’t know why she was so fascinated. Maybe it was his ink, or the thick muscles they were decorated on. His arms were covered in tribal ink, black patterns up and down his arms. She’d see the large dragon tattoo on his back, along with many other designs over the past four weeks.

He was also confident.

“You can let go of my arm.”

“I will.” He held her hand all the way back down to the main club.

Alexa wanted to die as she passed each new room. Why did she have to go with Nathan? She hadn’t even wanted to.

Once back in the main club, Corey released her.

“Thank you.”

With her humiliation complete, she made her way toward the door.

“Where are you going?”

She spun around and saw him leaning against the wall once again. He seemed to fill every room, but it must have something to do with him being over six feet tall.

Corey surprised her even more as he escorted her out of the club, and even flagged down a cab, handing the driver some money.

“You didn’t need to do that.”

“Again, I do what I want, and no one is going to stop me.” He gave her a wink, and she was left somewhat shocked by his attention. Corey didn’t stop for anyone.

Making his way down to the basement, Corey walked over toward Nathan who was observing the room.

“No one needed me down here,” Nathan said.

“I know.”

Nathan turned toward him. “What could I possibly have been doing wrong to you?”

“The brunette, stay away from her.”

“She’s been here the past four weeks, and you’ve not even approached her.” Nathan’s hands turned to fists. He wouldn’t fight. No one fought within the club. It was a strict rule that would end up with instant expulsion.

“Don’t go near the brunette.”

“For fuck’s sake. It’s not like you’re even going to spend all that much time with her. What? You’re going to fuck her and forget her?”

“What more were you going to do?” Corey asked. “You think you’re going to find a little submissive here? You wouldn’t even take her down here.”

“This is not the room for everyone.”

The dungeon room was for the darker fantasies. Some of the men and women had kidnapping fantasies, which were played out here. This was what made the club so unique. It was all safe, but it also held a high standard that if anyone got hurt, there were always consequences for their actions.

“The brunette is not yours.”

“Alexa. Her name is Alexa, and don’t worry. She’s spent so much time watching you, I decided to cut her a break. Some women should be shown more attention than anyone has shown her.” Nathan shook his head. “I’m surprised she has gone four weeks without a guy approaching her. She’s fucking beautiful, and she doesn’t even know it. Four weeks I’ve watched as she sat at that bar, watching you, and I fucking watched her. No guy made a single move on her.”

“There’s a reason for that.”

“You, again?”

Corey raised his brow. He wasn’t in the habit of defending his actions. Rarely did he actually do it. “This is the last time I’ll say this, stay away from her.”

He walked off and was stopped by Nathan calling to him.

“What makes you think she’s even going to want to do anything with you?” Nathan asked.

Smirking, he faced the other man. “Like you said, I’ve got four weeks, and she’s been watching me.”

He left the basement and made his way toward the main part of the club, but he veered off, going toward the secluded main offices where William, the club’s owner, would be going through accounts, and all the things important to running a successful sex club.
